A Public Meeting was organised for 14 June 2006 in Drumoak Church Hall to review the interim comments produced by DSB/CDDCC on future facilities for Drumoak Primary School. These had been sent to the Education Department for inclusion in their 26 May report. The Public Meeting commenced with a presentation describing these comments, in the context of possible growth scenarios for Drumoak itself. The Public Meeting gave full support to the recommendations of the interim comments (see notes of meeting). The preferred option is the construction of a new Drumoak Primary School on the Keithmuir Park (Drumoak Public Park) site, with the creation of a replacement park in land immediately to the west of that site. |
